Acceptable Use Policy
Final rules for lawful use of Searchleads data, exports, API usage, and AI assistance.
This is the active Acceptable Use Policy for all Searchleads accounts, exports, API access, and AI-assisted workflows. Violations can result in holds, export restrictions, suspension, or account termination.

Lawful prospecting and outreach
You may use Searchleads only for lawful business prospecting, research, and outreach. You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy, anti-spam, marketing, employment, and data-use laws before contacting any person or importing, exporting, sharing, or processing lead data. Where law requires notice, consent, suppression handling, unsubscribe processing, or a lawful basis for marketing, you must have and honor those requirements.

No spam, deception, or harassment
You may not use Searchleads to send or facilitate unlawful spam, deceptive marketing, phishing, impersonation, misleading subject lines, falsified sender identity, harassment, discrimination, or abusive outreach. You may not use Searchleads data to target people in ways that are unlawful, unsafe, or reasonably likely to cause harm.

Data access, security, and resale
Do not scrape the Searchleads application, share credentials outside your authorized team, attempt to access another customer's data, reverse engineer protected systems, or bypass account, billing, or export controls. Unless Searchleads expressly permits it in writing, you may not resell raw Searchleads data, create a competing dataset from bulk exports, or redistribute lead data in violation of contractual or legal restrictions.

API, automations, and usage controls
API and automation use must stay within documented endpoints, product limits, and purchased entitlements. You may not overload the service, probe for vulnerabilities, evade rate limits, rotate accounts to avoid billing, or automate actions in a way that degrades the platform for others. Searchleads may throttle, block, or review traffic that appears abusive, high risk, or inconsistent with normal product use.

AI-assisted workflows and human review
Searchleads AI features are provided to assist with research, filtering, summarization, and workflow support. You remain responsible for reviewing generated suggestions, exports, filters, and outreach content before use. You may not rely on AI output as legal advice, compliance approval, or a substitute for your own review of accuracy, fairness, and lawfulness.

Enforcement
Searchleads may investigate suspected abuse, fraud, payment risk, or policy violations and may preserve logs, policy acceptances, IP history, billing records, and other operational evidence as part of that review. Searchleads may issue warnings, pause credit-consuming actions, disable exports or API access, suspend accounts, terminate service, or contest payment disputes when appropriate.
